Free Mini-Courses in June & July
Over 70 people have enrolled in our two Mini-Courses at TorahResource Institute! The first Mini-Course (offered twice to accommodate the number of enrollments) is now finished, and the second Mini-Course, taught by Rob Vanhoff, is underway. We have received good feedback from those who have taken the courses, giving us confidence that our online Course Management System (Moodle®) is an effective method for Distance Learning. The primary purpose of these Mini-Courses is to give prospective students a real-life experience of Distance Learning, and specifically to experience Distance Learning at TorahResource Institute.

We had hoped to have the TRI Catalog ready by now, but a number of important issues are still being finalized. We do have the schedule for the Fall Classes ready, however, and we plan to post this schedule at the TRI website next week, along with all of the necessary information for those of you who are planning to take classes in September. We will be sending out a special email announcement when this information has been posted.

We Thank HaShem for His Provision
We continue to praise HaShem for His faithfulness to us! Through the kind and gracious support of those who are burdened to see a school like this become a reality, we have been enabled to continue forward in launching TRI. For years we have recognized the need for a school to train teachers and leaders in our movement, but only now has HaShem opened the door for actually starting such a school. Essential to this beginning was the need for additional staff at TorahResource. HaShem answered this need by burdening my colleague, Gary Springer, to commit himself to this work as our Administrator, as well as handling Student Services. Since April, Gary has been working full-time with us. His diligent work and expertise is an essential part of making TRI a reality, and so we give thanks to all of you who, being prompted by HaShem, have supported this work financially. We also are grateful for those Torah communities and congregations who have committed themselves to support our work at TRI. Together we trust the Almighty to supply our ongoing needs in this important, generational work for His kingdom!
